Following this, the party nominated her to contest in the Damoh constituency against the prominent BJP leader Jayant Malaiya in the state assembly elections. One user stressed, “In politics, intelligence matters more than looks,” while another commented, “And minimise the waist-shaking.”
Yet another user commented, “Chahat’s allure didn’t have an impact in Damoh.” Despite numerous trolls targeting her for the video, there are supporters coming forward. One user supporting her stated, “This is the purpose of social media, and her followers may not necessarily be voters from Damoh.” Additionally, another user mentioned, “Because the 1.2 million followers are from all over India, and voters are from Damoh.”
