Following his divorce from Malaika Arora in 2017, Bollywood actor Arbaaz Khan entered into a relationship with Giorgia Andriani, and they have been together for the past few years. Despite their separation, Malaika and Arbaaz maintain a co-parenting arrangement for their son, Arhaan.
In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Giorgia openly confirmed her separation from Arbaaz, marking the first time she has addressed the breakup.

During an exclusive conversation with Pinkvilla, Giorgia Andriani disclosed her split from Arbaaz Khan. Expressing her sentiments, she stated, “We were friends, we were like best friends. I will always have feelings for him; I will always do.”
Giorgia added, “The relationship that he had with Malaika (Arora) did not really come in the way of my relationship with him. What I am now to be called somebody’s girlfriend, I don’t; I definitely find it very demeaning. We both knew that it wouldn’t have lasted forever. It was very different.”
In response to inquiries about her current relationship status with Arbaaz, she replied, “At this point, we are very good friends. We’ve always been very good friends even at that time when we were more than friends. We’ve been always very close, had a lot of fun together. I guess that is also one of the reasons why it was kinda hard to become from friends to friends friends.”
Expressing her thoughts, she remarked, “It is difficult to bounch back from a long relationship even from short relationship sometimes. I think whatever that made my relationship very special with him was the fun. Having fun so much with that person for a prolonged amount of time, of course it is very hard to bounch back, however, bouncing vack is the best part of a breakup.”
Wedding plans of Giorgia
In a prior interview with Bollywood Hungama, Giorgia addressed her wedding plans with boyfriend Arbaaz Khan, stating, “Honestly, we’re not currently considering marriage or a wedding.” She went on to mention the impact of the pandemic on their relationship, noting, “The lockdown prompted reflection, bringing people closer or driving them apart.” Giorgia also expressed admiration for Arbaaz’s ex-wife, Malaika, emphasising her genuine liking and appreciation for Malaika’s journey.

For those unaware, on Malaika’s reality show, she faced questions about Arbaaz and the speculated breakup with Giorgia. Malaika responded by expressing uncertainty about the rumours, mentioning her lack of inclination to inquire about Arbaaz or their son Arhaan’s personal matters. She clarified that, unlike some divorced couples, she refrains from seeking information through their children, choosing to uphold a boundary and distance herself from such concerns.
