Dear well Wishers/ PSEUDO FANS , I am observing that my weight gain is bothering you! You are relentlessly sending hate mails and messages , you don’t see my worth if I don’t hire a PR or if I don’t tip paps for spotting … you are threatening to leave fandoms coz I am fat now , I don’t wear good (designer) clothes and I am not working hard to get BIG projects …. Well , I am indeed disappointed that , FOR YOU my physical appearance is far more important than my talent and my commitment to my work ….. But I have a GOOD NEWS for you all…. ITS MY LIFE and it has phases , and you too are a phase of my life! PS :- I respect my fans, so don’t call yourself my FAN!”

Regarding the recent body shaming, she said that:

“You gain one extra inch here and there and they start commenting ‘Arre buddhi Lagne lagi hai, charm chala gaya hai, look at the way she walks, arre bhains hogayi hai’,”

She also added that people have the freedom to write whatever they wish to on anyone’s page on social media and that people are ‘inconsiderate about others feelings’.

Rubina also added something about respecting one’s choice and body positivity:

“People should know that respecting somebody’s choice of being how they want to should be there. There is no one to talk about it. If they talk about it, we on the other side should know how to handle it and not let them affect us. It is like a way of letting the trolls know that there is a boundary which they should not cross,”

Rubina also has a message for trolls attacking her family. The Big Boss contestant and the actress said, “Mujhe life mein itna kuch bhi affect nahi karta jitna Abhinav’s state of mind that affects me the most, same with my parents, sisters. Then the Durga inside me takes charge and comes out and I decide ab ruko Tum sabkoo main bataati hoon. You mess with me it’s fine, you mess with my family, it’s going to be the worst thing you ever do.”
With the movie Ardh the actress is set to make her Bollywood debut. The movie will also see Palash Muchhal’s debut as a director. The actress will be sharing screen space with Hiten Tejwani and Rajpal Yadav in the same.
