Kiara Advani and Vicky Kaushal recently appeared together on Karan Johar’s talk show, ‘Koffee With Karan’ Season 8. They openly discussed their proposal stories and revealed how their “couch” dreams turned into reality. Despite that, the episode was filled with love.
In one segment of the show, host Karan Johar referred to Kiara as a “hit machine” and a “lucky mascot.” It’s understandable considering her impressive track record with major box office successes such as ‘Kabir Singh,’ ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2,’ ‘Jugjugg Jeeyo,’ and ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha.’
David Beckham’s advise to Kiara Advani
When Karan inquired about her feelings regarding the label, the actress responded, “Well, it feels fantastic that the films have performed so well. However, I must mention this since you mentioned ‘lucky.'”
She went on to recollect the advice she received from the legendary David Beckham during the Cricket World Cup 2023 semi-final between India and New Zealand. Advani stated, “During the semi-finals, I was seated next to David Beckham. Someone in our vicinity was discussing India’s fortunate winning streak and the way we are playing.”
The actress quoted the football icon, and said, “He (David Beckham) said to me, ‘It’s not luck. It’s someone’s hard work.’ And, it hit me. I really resonated with that because it’s never just a fluke. It’s never just like a stroke of luck. It is always a team, in our case of course. And many people’s hard work. It’s talent, skill, and hard work. If you don’t have that, no matter if the stars are in your favour, not everyone hits it out.”

Professionally, Kiara Advani’s latest appearance was in Satyaprem Ki Katha, where she starred alongside Kartik Aaryan. Her upcoming project is Game Changer, in collaboration with Ram Charan.
David Beckham in semi finals

The Men In Blue achieved their 10th consecutive win in the World Cup 2023 by defeating the Black Caps. Notable celebrities, such as Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani, Shahid Kapoor, and John Abraham, attended the India vs New Zealand match. Sachin Tendulkar and David Beckham were present at the Wankhede Stadium on behalf of UNICEF.
Unexpectedly, David Beckham had recently visited India for a four-day trip in his capacity as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.
