As 2023 draws to an end, Triptii reflects on her experience working with Ranbir, someone she frequently expresses having a crush on. In an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha, when questioned about whether she conveyed her admiration and infatuation to Ranbir, she shared, “I was so nervous around him (laughs). I only told him that he’s my favourite actor.”
The Qala actress stated, “It’s really important that you’re in an environment where people respect you as a person, your choices and what you’re doing at that particular moment and make it only about that and not anything else.”
Ranbir had Extra marital affair with Tripti
In the movie, she portrayed one of the female leads alongside Rashmika Mandanna, taking on the role of Ranbir Kapoor’s extramarital love interest. Engaging in numerous intimate scenes with Ranbir, she quickly gained overnight fame, with netizens dubbing her the ‘New National Crush of India’. In a recent interview, she revealed the nervousness she felt before filming those intimate scenes and highlighted Ranbir’s supportive demeanor. In a recent interview with News18 Showsha, she expressed, ”It really helps when you have a co-actor you can count on so much. You have to be comfortable performing those scenes.”
During the conversation, Triptii also emphasized that both the actor and the director assured her that she wouldn’t have to film those intimate scenes if she felt uncomfortable. ”My comfort was taken care of. It was a part of the story. As long as you’re comfortable with your co-actors and directors, it shouldn’t matter. But some people need them (intimacy coordinators). It depends from person to person,” she elaborated.
Triptii shared her experience with Animal Cast
The 29-year-old proceeded to disclose that she ‘didn’t feel awkward’ or sense the need for someone to ‘guide’ her through the scene. “That scene was taken as lightly as any other scene in the film. They weren’t making a big deal out of it. We did it exactly the way we did other scenes. My comfort was taken care of.” she stated. Discussing how she also didn’t feel the need for an intimacy coordinator on set, she added, “As long as you’re comfortable with your co-actors and directors, it shouldn’t matter. But some people need them. It depends from person to person.”
With Pehle Bhi Main gaining more and more attention, Triptii expresses being ‘overwhelmed’ with all the love coming her way. “I was very nervous on the first day and knew the film would do well but I wasn’t expecting this kind of a response for Zoya. Later, I thought, ‘It’s a small role and it will come and go.’ But I wasn’t expecting to receive so much love or even be noticed. I haven’t been able to sleep,” stated the actor, who continues to remain a talking point for reportedly being cast as the female lead in Aashiqui 3.
