“I feel really hurt to share this and have to talk about the deepfake video of me being spread online. Something like this is honestly, extremely scary not only for me. But also for each one of us who today is vulnerable to so much harm because of how technology is being misused.”

In response to a related tweet, Amitabh Bachchan emphasized the need for legal action. He affirmed that this is a serious case demanding legal measures to combat the misuse of technology. Big B stated, “Yes, this is a strong case for legal.”

The actor continued, stating gratitude for her family and friends as her support. Reflecting on the situation, she acknowledged that if such an incident occurred during her school or college days, she wouldn’t have known how to handle it. Stressing the importance of addressing this issue collectively and urgently, Rashmika urged the community to act before more people fall victim to identity theft. She tagged the official X accounts of Cyberabad Police and Maharashtra Cyber, the agency handling cybersecurity and cybercrime investigations in Maharashtra, in her post on IG.
