This dude, who’s 68, doesn’t just post the usual stuff; his Twitter is like a treasure trove of cool, inspiring, and heartwarming things that can brighten anyone’s day. He’s got a whopping 10.8 million followers, and he drops some serious life lessons on them through his posts. This time, he had a good laugh when someone shared a pic of his doppelgänger, and his response cracked everyone up.

That’s where it started

On Twitter, where you find a bunch of stuff, from news to all kinds of weird things, there’s this user @pjdaddyofficial. He posted a pic of his work buddy from Pune, claiming the guy looks so much like Anand Mahindra that it would probably blow the big shot’s mind if he saw it.

On November 3, it began with a post. Anand Mahindra posted a pic of this snack pack called Bombay Mixture with the name Anand on it, found in New York. He joked that his lawyers said he wouldn’t win if he sued for them using his name. He wrote on X “Encountered in New York. Lawyers tell me I would not be successful in suing for brand violation.”

Answering Mahindra’s post, a guy shared a pic of his Pune colleague who looks just like him. He wrote, “@anandmahindra You too can get shocked after seeing this person. My colleague from Pune, lookalike Anand Mahindra.” Mahindra saw the resemblance and came back with a clever response.

Anand Mahindra gave a witty response

The tweet seemed to catch the big shot’s eye. Anand Mahindra retweeted it with another clever comment, and as expected, it’s spreading like wildfire, just like his usual viral stuff.

Mahindra said, “Looks like we were separated during some Mela in our childhood…” He was referring to the common theme of childhood separations at local fairs in many old Indian movies.

Netizens reaction

Back in June, Mahindra hopped on X to post a selfie from his trip to the US. In the pic were him, Mukesh Ambani of Reliance Industries, Vrinda Kapoor from 3rdiTech, and astronaut Sunita Williams. They were all in Washington DC for a state dinner thrown in honour of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
