Rapper-singer Badshah is apologizing for disappointing the internet but it appears that he is not romantically involved with Mrunal Thakur. Following the surge of relationship rumours on Reddit and Twitter on Monday, he took to Instagram to share a brief note, seemingly addressing the speculation.
In an Instagram post he expressed, “Dear internet, sorry to disappoint you yet again but it’s not what you think it is.” However, he refrained from specifying the subject of discussion. Mrunal did not comment on this post.

Mrunal Thakur, recognised for her recent appearance in the war drama film “Pippa,” co-stars with Ishaan Khatter. Directed by Raja Krishna Menon, the movie adapts Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta’s book, “The Burning Chaffees.” Titled as a tribute to the amphibious war tank PT-76, popularly known as Pippa, the film narrates Captain Balram Mehta’s (played by Ishaan) coming-of-age journey in the 45 Cavalry Tank Squadron. This wartime saga portrays a patriotic narrative, illustrating the valor and courage of Balram Mehta and the Indian Armed Forces during a liberation war.
Rumours about Badshah and Mrunal dating surfaced when a video from Shilpa’s Diwali party went viral. The clip showed the rapper and the actress holding hands as they exited the party. A user on Reddit shared the video with the caption, “Mrunal and Badshah yesterday at Shilpa’s Diwali party. Are they dating?”
Earlier, the ‘Sita Ramam’ actor shared pictures from Shilpa Shetty’s Diwali bash on Instagram, including one where Badshah and the actor posed with the host Shilpa Shetty.

Following the video’s viral spread, a Reddit user expressed surprise, writing, “I in no way expected them as a couple. Wow. Really wow.” Another user questioned, “Isn’t he married and has a kid as well?”
In April, Badshah refuted rumours of tying the knot with model Isha Rikhi, emphasising that he was previously married to Jasmine Masih, with whom he divorced in 2020. Their daughter Jessemy Grace Masih Singh was born in 2017.
A week ago, a rumour circulated about Mrunal preparing to marry a Telugu boy but the actor promptly dismissed such claims.
