Balenciaga’s space on the elevated ground floor of Jio World Plaza showcases their latest offerings in ready-to-wear, shoes, bags, accessories, eyewear, and jewellery. The store itself follows the experiential concept of ‘Raw Architecture,’ intentionally leaving surfaces raw with details like simulated corrosion or rough edges. The brushed concrete floors resemble sidewalk tiles, and the walls and shelving units are panelled with stained and aged concrete. Overhead, the ceiling grids, industrial lighting systems, and other technical fixtures are exposed, while the aluminium tables, hanging racks, and faux leather benches are patinated and worn to replicate warehouse fixtures.
