It is really hard to part our ways with someone we get attached to. When we spend every minute of our day with some people, they become a part of our soul. Friends especially are the hardest to let go. We usually become friends with people who have the same amount of weirdness like us. They are like our other half and to let go someone like that has got to hurt terribly. Talking about the Friends cast, there is no doubt they were all very close. 10 years of laughing together, crying together, having spooky fun together while creating memories for a lifetime. We can’t even imagine how hard it must have been for them to shoot the final episode.

Knowing that a certain thing is going to end is more painful than the time when it just happens suddenly. I for once know how agonizing the final days of my high school was. Sure, the cast members are still pretty close to each other. But, nothing can make up for the fun they used to have on the set and behind the set as well.

Let’s peep into the hearts of the Friends’ cast and find out how was their heart beating during the final episode.

The one where they say goodbye.

The finale episode of friends “The one where they say goodbye” was a special and heart-touching episode for all of us. I wonder how many tissues did you use during this episode. Well, it seems as though we were not the only ones crying our eyes out while watching this episode. The cast members too couldn’t control their emotions after they shot the last episode. While most of the seasons had 22 to 24 episodes, the last season was kept short and sweet. Kauffman said “You don’t want them to feel like, Thank God it’s over! And leaving them wanting more is always a nice thing.” Here are some of the things that were pre-planned before the shooting of the final episode.

“Rachel and Ross” was the endgame.

The first thing that the writers knew was that Ross and Rachel should be the endgame no matter what. We can’t deny this fact either! It’s like they were made for each other. Are you wondering why did they make it seem like Rachel will really go to Paris and move on? Well, this isn’t new. The writers always liked to keep us on the edge. They wanted to spice things up by making us believe that perhaps Rachel did choose Paris over Ross. It was crazy, but fun.

The one where we all cried.

We all can imagine the waterworks during the shoot of the finale episode. It was not easy for the cast at all. They even demanded one more season. They all were so dejected that they didn’t even have to fake their tears in the last episode. They tried a lot to keep themselves cheerful until the end but couldn’t help it.

The one where they all gave in.

The first one of them to crack was Lisa Kudrow. Looks like Lisa is not that strong with controlling emotions unlike her character Phoebe. Then Jennifer and Courteney joined the cycle. The men’s team on the other hand was waiting to see who would give in first. Well, it was David from this side followed by Matt.

Here’s a video of the last day at the shoot, they all look so upset. Everyone hugging each other to extend the moment for a little longer. Everyone in the studio is emotional, people are crying. Even the cast is seen shedding tears and hugging each other tight like there’s no tomorrow.

All this is so overwhelming for Friends fans!

The one with all the inside thoughts of the cast.

We know that almost the whole cast couldn’t control and cried the last day of the shoot. Now, let us see what they have to say about those unforgettable moments.

Maggie Wheeler aka Janice said, “The tears were flowing and the entire cast had to go back and have their make redone before starting”. During an interview, Aniston said, “I don’t think we’ve ever taken more time in hair and makeup in between scenes”. We can feel you, Jennifer!

Just like us the cast too didn’t want it to end. They too wanted it to last for aq little longer. Jennifer once explained in an interview, “I mean, the last scene we just wept, cried our eyes out…And then a couple of us stayed really late and we crawled up to the roof of Stage 24 and drank champagne and watched the sunrise.” That last day they were losing a home away from home, so trying to feel that for a few long minutes is natural.

David Schwimmer was trying to keep himself together but he lost it after the pre-ritual huddle. I mean who can blame him! On the other hand, Matt LeBlanc had quit smoking but the last season was so unbearable for him that he started smoking again. Now you see that’s how close the Friends cast was!

The one friend who didn’t cry.

Between all these cry-babies there was one member who didn’t let even a single drop of tear fall out of his eyes. That’s Matthew Perry I am talking about. That’s right he was the only one who didn’t cry at all. “I didn’t cry, but I felt like I was about to for like seven hours,” he said. I think he must have shed a lot of tears later because it’s impossible to not get attached to people after sharing memories for 10 long years. Moreover, it’s believed he had a bigger reason to be sad because he was going to miss the opportunity of seeing someone special, Monica. Yes, it’s believed he was in love with her. Pre-Party hosted by the Pitts

Before ending such a successful show, a party is a must. Brad Pitt and Jennifer hosted a dinner party at their mansion (Beverly Hills) exclusively for the cast and the producers four days before the final episode. Crane said it was fun and made sure to make a funny comment that Jennifer DID NOT COOK.

Well, this is a given, isn’t it? We already know how they would have reacted after the show came to an end. How they would have longed to meet again and have the same kind of fun. The show was such a hit that a successful career was waiting for all of them. They all got engaged with new projects and films soon after they were done with their final episode.

The finale episode of F.R.I.E.N.D.S was really hard for me. It took me a day or two to get over the fact that “Oh! It really is the end.” Well, I am sure even you must have had pretty much a break down after the last episode. But, no worries because the REUNION is not far away!

The 90’s sitcom is popular for many reasons but the one thing we all love about the show is ‘COMEDY’. The sarcasm of Chandler Bing was like a cherry on top! In every episode, we got new jokes and sarcasm. The Friends team never failed to amuse us with their dialogues and reactions. In fact, we are so badly influenced by their dialogues, that we all use many of those in our daily lives. Joey’s “How you doing?”, I mean we all have tried using this as a pick-up line at least once in our lives, isn’t it? This show has given us unlimited comedy and made us laugh our hearts out for 10 continuous years and many more. Friends is one of the most hilarious show I have seen in my entire life!

But, many times there were jokes which I couldn’t figure out and had to google to find out their real meanings. But, trust me it’s all worth it. It’s better to laugh a little late rather than just ignoring the lines. Because if you start ignoring the lines then you lose a lot of the puns in the show.

I bet there are a whole lot of jokes that went unnoticed by many fans. Even after watching the show for 10 times, can you guarantee that you haven’t missed even a word from the show? Remember the one episode where Rachel and Barry had a little fling! Rachel makes a joke saying “It was so nice having this little sink here.” Now, this is one of those many dirty jokes that many of us didn’t get it right.

So talking about jokes from Friends, there’s a very remarkable one by Rachel which most of us couldn’t understand in the first go. Recently the writers of the show have uncovered the hidden fun for us to acknowledge.

In the episode “The one with the jellyfish” where Ross and Rachel got back together for the second time after the whole “We were on a break” drama. While they did get back together, but it didn’t last very long. We all know how Rachel wrote an 18 pages letter “front and back!”, in which she made Ross responsible for everything that went wrong in their relationship. Now, we do know that Rachel made a huge mistake, but, let’s not get distracted from our main topic.

Although “The one with the jellyfish” episode is popular for the hilarious awkwardness between Monica, Chandler and Joey when they return from the beach, we can’t really ignore the comic scene where Ross and Rachel insulted each other right to left. They both used each other’s personal issues to insult one another, just the way we do between friends. It was then that Rachel made a very sarcastic joke which many of us didn’t really understand.

She said, “Just so you know, it’s not that common, it doesn’t happen to every guy and it is a BIG DEAL”.

After soon after that we even saw Chandler saying “I knew it”. Well many of us wondered what was Rachel trying to say, that Chandler knew about but we didn’t. For years this joke of Rachel has been a question mark for many fans. But recently, the executive producers of the show Greg Malins and Adam Chase finally elaborated the joke!

Turns out the mind behind the joke was Greg Malins. He usually prefers to say his jokes first rather than writing it down. But for this particular one, he first wrote it well and then pitched it to the team. He wanted it to be perfect because if not presented perfectly, it might not hit the right strings and eventually could get rejected.

While writing the lines for the plot the writers were busy throwing lines at each other. And suddenly to make things interesting Malins had an idea where Rachel says “Well one time when you prematurely ejaculated, I told you it was okay and it wasn’t”. Since this inclusion took the viewers back to the episode from season 2 where Ross and Rachel… You know had some juice box moment, everyone in the room loved the idea.

While Malins came up with most of the lines in the joke but Adam Chase added some more spice to it by adding the phrase, “It Is A Big Deal!!!”

Recalling those moments Chase and Malins described how it was to work in Friends. They said everyone was very cooperative and loved to collaborate. Even the writers used to be so enthusiastic. They used to shout at each other in character, to check the lines they have written. Everything in Friends was overwhelming. A perfect environment to work. And maybe that’s the reason it has blossomed so beautifully.

From the very beginning, FRIENDS has been one of the most popular TV Shows. Its marketability was always on the positive side. Day by day we see the fanbase expanding. All the six lead characters were equally applauded for their performances by the audience. From 1994-2004, they have had a beautiful journey. Each year, they could see the public admiring them more and more. Magical isn’t it? Well, I can assure you that those 10 years were remarkable and the most memorable for the six protagonists. If we talk financially, the year 2002 was special because that’s the year when the six friends clinched a solid ONE MILLION DOLLAR pay deal for each episode. I should for sure put forth the fact that back in time this was the only TV Show where the lead artists were paid a bomb.

Can you believe it how a single show turned out to be a fortune for each one of them? Their lives were totally different before this show and Friends proved to be a turning point in their career. After watching the show, people started recognizing their talent and offers started pouring in. I bet you all are wondering how their first paychecks of this show read like. Season 1 – Season 5

In the beginning, they were offered $22,500 for one episode. That isn’t any less money, is it? But of course, their salaries were meant to increase with their growing abilities. Moving on to the second season, a few of them got a hike up to $40,000 per episode. In season three they made $75,000 for an episode and in season four it went up to $85,000 per episode. If you think that’s a lot of money then you are forgetting a fact, that they were a part of the most successful TV Series in history. And they definitely deserved a lot more than $85,000! So as per their calibre and the huge inflow of money from previous episodes, for season five they received another huge paycheck of $100,000 for each episode.

Season 6 – Season 8

But don’t be shocked so soon as this is just the inception of their journey towards a marvellous career. After being involved in such a great show their face value increased largely. They got offers for commercials, movies, new TV shows and more. They had to face interviews after interviews and things completely changed for them. The show was performing really good on TV and so while they started working for season 6, they again got an uplift of $125,000 for individual episodes. But things became super huge when their paycheck reached $750,000 for an episode in season 7 and 8.

The cast was performing amazingly because they had great chemistry among themselves. One of the reasons why the show was a hit was that the cast was enjoying their work and had a great bond. It’s a known fact that after season 1, David and Jennifer started to receive more pay than the rest of the cast. They could have continued it that way but they did something really amazing. Rather, they receive royalties for the rest of their life until the show is earning money. Actually, they hit the real jackpot from the show’s reruns. The paycheck they received while recording the show looked too small when compared with the paychecks received from reruns of the show. As per reports from the USA Today, each protagonist earns around $19-$20 million a year from royalties of the show.

If you think the cast is the real winner then think again! The real winner in terms of money seems to be Warner Bros, the show’s studio. Reports state that Warner Bros earns not less than $1 billion in a year as syndication revenue.

Money from Friends is huge because they could give us something that we can never forget. When someone creates something with all their emotions and efforts then results are ought to be great. Similar is the case of Friends.

The cast and Warner Bros may again hit a jackpot once they are out with the Friends Reunion. It demonstrated that Friends are nothing but our second family. The show was and is popular for many reasons. Friendship of course is one of them, but it is also favoured for its portrayal of romance. The chemistry between the couples on the show was jaw-dropping. Not just on-screen but even the off-screen love life of the cast has been pretty spectacular. ‘Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt’, ‘Matthew Perry and Julia Roberts’, ‘Courteney Cox and David Arquette’ are some of the well-known love stories of our favourite cast members. Today, we will talk about my favourite character Monica aka Courteney Cox.

Recently she uploaded a video on her Instagram profile with a man. She has openly accepted in the post that she loves her and for 7 years they have been together. It’s hard for a few fans(like me) to believe that Courteney can have a better date than Chandler or Matthew Perry. But as per the post on Insta, yes she has someone else in her life.

It’s very well known that Courteney Cox’s dating list is rather short compared to her best friend Jennifer Aniston’s. Courteney found the love of her life right after Friends caught up the heat. She and David Arquette first met on the sets of ‘Scream’. There was a spark between them since the very beginning. It didn’t take them much longer to declare each other as their one and only. They got hitched in 1999. The two were together for more than a decade. On 13th June 2004, they welcomed their daughter Coco into the world. But unfortunately, things didn’t work out between them and they parted their ways in 2010. As per the sources, the split was on good terms and they are still very close to each other. So was the man in the Instagram post, David Arquette?

Actually, the answer to the previous question would be a no. After her divorce, Courteney did not lose hope and was still looking for the love of her life. In 2015 she met with the musician ‘Johnny McDaid’ and fell in love with him. They got engaged right after six months of dating each other but for some reason, they called it off. No, don’t lose your heart just yet. Because they didn’t break off here.

Like the saying “If two people are meant to be together, they will find their way back” so did Courteney and Johnny. In May 2016, Courteney told Us Weekly “Well, we love each other and we are – yes, we’re happy!” At the same time, Johnny commented saying that he has never loved a woman like he loves Courteney. Cute right!

SO the video Courteney posted, is it with Johnny then? Of course yes, he is the man Courteney loves. It’s not the first time that she publically expressed her love for Johnny. We adore this couple and their lovely moments together. We are really happy for her as she finally found her happily ever after.

It’s been 26 years of the iconic TV Show “F.R.I.E.N.D.S”. By now we already know it is more than just a TV Show at least for many of us. The show is a classic in the history of American comedies. And has a huge fanbase not just in America but in many other countries in the world too. If we look closely, it is a mixture of many genres such as friendship, romance, comedy, drama, and that makes this show even more fun to watch. It’s one-of-a-kind tv shows which you can re-watch as many times as you wish to, and you will still find it amusing every Nth time. One of the many reasons why we admire the show so much is because it co-relates to many day-to-day happenings in our life. And of course, another reason is undoubtedly the cast.

The six characters Chandler, Monica, Ross, Rachel, Phoebe, and Joey were all acclaimed on the same level. It has been really hard for all the fans to choose their favorite character as all the characters were equally funny, lovable, and dramatic. Well, all credit goes to the ones who played these roles (Matthew Perry, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, and Matt LeBlanc).

Imagine how it would have been watching some other actors playing the part of the six characters. Now if we even think of it, we can imagine nothing but a mess! But back in time, the creators might have cast someone else in place the cast we know. In many instances, they almost made their mind to cast some other person, but fate played it well and saved us.

Just to give you an idea of how things would have been if the cast would have changed, here’s a short video:

I am not saying the video is bad rather they did really well. I appreciate the way they have recreated the episode. But in the words of Ross Geller, ‘they are not them’ and the girl in the green dress, ‘she is not Rachel’!

Here are some of the actors who almost took the role of our beloved cast from FRIENDS.

Ellen DeGeneres as Phoebe Buffay.

Ellen was initially offered the role of Phoebe Buffay which was played by Lisa Kudrow. Apparently, she turned the offer down but as we all know that hardly hurt her. She is really successful in hosting her TV show and I guess she loves it better because she hasn’t spared any of the hot celebrities.

Personally, in my opinion, I don’t think anyone else could have played the part of Phoebe Buffay as wonderfully as Lisa Kudrow. Phoebe is one such character who is unique. It requires more than just acting to achieve such a level of craziness that is adorable as well.

Leah Remini as Monica Geller.

Leah who starred in King of Queens auditioned for the role of Monica Geller which was ultimately played by Courteney Cox. Don’t be surprised to know that she made it to the final rounds of the audition but then Courteney came in after rejecting the role of Rachel Green.

Though she didn’t get the part of Monica, we have seen her in Friends already. She was the first girl who showed us Joey’s lovely and caring side. She was the pregnant lady “The one with the Birth” where she was alone during her pregnancy and Joey helped her all through it.

Jon Favreau as Chandler Bing.

Can we really imagine anyone other than Matthew Perry playing the role of “Chandler”, the funniest guy in the group? Well, the directors had someone in mind. Jon was offered the role of Chandler Bing by the directors but fortunately, he turned it down. He is an actor and a director as well and most of the Friends Fans recognize him as Monica’s Ex-boyfriend who was rich as hell. Many of us also know him as “Happy Hogan” in The Avengers. Though he is a great actor, we prefer Matthew over him for the part of Chandler.

Tea Leoni as Rachel Green.

Tea was firmly considered the perfect choice for playing the role of Rachel Green by the Producers. Apparently, she turned down the offer to do another TV show named “The Naked Truth”. However, the show did not turn out to be a successful one as was canceled during its third season. Anyways, she has already made her name in Hollywood even without being in Friends.

We know she is hot, but Jennifer has a special place in our hearts now.

Courteney Cox as Rachel Green.

Yes, you guys read that right. Believe me, I was surprised too! I mean imagine Courteney playing the role of Rachel who is the exact opposite of Monica. The show creators themselves offered the role of Rachel to Courteney first. But Courteney was the one who insisted on auditioning for the role of Monica as she wanted a strong female character. Maybe somewhere deep inside she already knew she could play the role of Monica beautifully and rock it once and forever!

Eric McCormack as Ross Geller.

Eric auditioned for the role of Ross Geller before playing his life’s most successful role on Will and Grace. The creators mentioned that he was very close to getting that role but couldn’t get it. Moreover, it’s a known fact that the writers had David Schwimmer in mind while writing the character Ross. So if David is available to play Ross then why would they take someone else?

Hank Azaria as Joey Tribbiani.

Honestly, we can never imagine anyone else playing the roles of these evergreen characters. They are not just actors they have become our life and love. There’s no one in the world to replace those six people from our memories and hearts.

The 90’s sitcom Friends is not just famous for its comedy but is also famous for romance. The show has projected multiple couples. Each of these couples was unique in their own special way. Chandler and Janice ‘the chaotic couple’, Monica and Richard ‘the darling couple’, Phoebe and David ‘the adorable couple’, Ross and Julie ‘the winsome couple’, Rachel and Joshua ‘the heart-throb couple’ and Joey and Kate ‘the tragedy couple’. But, some couples have a special place in our hearts. The show is just as incomplete without the significant friendships as it is without the endearing romance. Chandler and Monica, Rachel and Ross, Phoebe, and Mike are the evergreen couples whom we will cherish forever. Who can forget the time when Chandler expressed his feelings and his longing for a child to Erica or the epic Ross and Rachel’s ‘we were on a break’ phrase?

Even after years, the cast of Friends is still bothered with questions from the show. It so happened recently that David Schwimmer attended a virtual meet with Jimmy Fallon. And guess what? They started with talking about David’s new web series but ended up getting stuck with FRIENDS yet again.

Jimmy asked David many questions from the show and we must admit, his answers were amusing. Friends Fans loved the interview as they learned a lot many things about David and Ross. One question by Jimmy grabbed the most attention and that was undoubtedly David’s stand on the “We were on a break” fiasco. Well, what do you think his answer might have been to this?

The one where Ross and Rachel take a break.

Before we proceed with David’s reply let’s take a moment to cherish the phrase that became the point of debate for fans all over the world. The ‘we were on a break’ phrase has become an iconic line from the show. Surely, it is the first thing that comes to our mind when we talk about Ross and Rachel. This phrase alone has a different fan base! Well, everyone remembers the episode very well, where Ross and Rachel have a heated argument because Ross suspects that Rachel’s interest has perhaps now shifted to Mark (a guy from her workplace). This upsets Rachel very much and this starts the whole “Break” thing. Even the time when Ross calls Rachel and Mark was with her. Oh boy, it might have been terrible for Ross! But most people forget this fact. While he did the mistake of having an affair or a fling with Chloe, he was heartbroken and drunk.

The next day, we all know how things worsened and finally, Rachel and Ross coined the phrase ‘We were on a break, no we were not!’

After this day, we have heard the line a million times and every time we did, it was amusing! Never bored us at all. Even the time when Rachel and Ross were together again, but Rachel’s 18-page letter ruined it back. Let’s admit it here, it was Rachel’s mistake to put all blame on Ross and stay clean. It was a relationship they were restarting, here you can’t just put the burden on one person and expect everything to stay balanced.

Well, Ross and Rachel started it but fans have stretched it to a place where we don’t have a conclusion even today. So again after years, we turned back to David Schwimmer for the final judgement. He replied to Jimmy in the interview and you are about to witness it now.

While talking, Jimmy asked David a very interesting question, “What do people yell out the most to you?”. David replied, “It’s either pivot or we were on a break”. Well obviously, these are our two favourite quotes by Ross Geller.

When we talk about the ’90s, one of the many things which strike our mind is the most popular American sitcom F.R.I.E.N.D.S. No one, including the show creators, ever thought that everyone would accept and appreciate the show so hugely. But, the show turned out to be a hit. Not just in the ’90s, but the show is still well-liked by many. The show’s popularity reached a whole new level after it released on Netflix. Fans cherished the cast a lot. So much that by the end of the series the cast earned up to one million dollars per episode.

Like what was the name of Joey’s imaginary childhood friend (Maurice) and his job (Space cowboy), what was Chandler Bing’s job, something related to transponding, what was Rachel’s actual favourite movie (Weekend at Bernie’s), and a lot more. Most fans already know a lot about the on-screen particulars. So today let me tell you some behind the scene secrets.

We all know that actors have a lot of fun behind the scenes. All the constant jokes and pranks they play on each other seem fun but was it the same for FRIENDS?

Matt LeBlanc was broke when he got the role of Joey.

Matt was a struggling actor back then. He used to do gigs for a living. He was so broke that he only had $11 in his pocket when he landed with the role of Joey on Friends. The actor once revealed that if not the part of Joey Tribbiani, he was going to get a job of a waiter, but the $11 he had would have been long gone by then, and he would have starved. Well, all it took for him was a role on a sitcom to project his talent, and the rest is history.

The reason behind Phoebe being so bad at playing the guitar.

At first, I thought why is Phoebe so terrible at playing the guitar and arrived at the conclusion that this was just how the creators might have wanted it. But, this wasn’t the real reason behind it. This happened because Lisa said she didn’t want to learn how to play the guitar. She did try learning it but ended up learning just a few chords. She found it difficult to play and even suggested Phoebe should play the Bongos instead. But, now after having watched the complete series, we are grateful that she didn’t learn much because we love her faulty guitar playing and is now kind of one of her character traits.

The difficulty in deciding the right name for the show.

Today, whenever the word friend is mentioned, the first thing that comes to my mind is the Tv show, F.R.I.E.N.D.S. But, did you know that the creators faced a tough timing deciding the title for the show? Back then, there was a chance we would have called it by a completely different name. The titles which were initially decided were ‘Insomnia Café’, ‘Friends Like Us’, ‘Across the Hall’. When the pilot was shot, the name of the show was ‘Six of One’. Weird right? We can’t really imagine a better name for this show. F.R.I.E.N.D.S is perfection.

Phoebe and Chandler were initially just supporting characters.

Yes, that’s right. According to the directors, the show was supposed to have four lead characters. Ross, Rachel, Monica, and Joey were the ones who were placed as the main leads. Chandler and Phoebe would have been in the show but they were not allotted many scenes. I can’t really imagine the show without the funniest guy and the coolest/weirdest girl. The show would have been incomplete without them. Not just the show, but also the other four characters. I mean who would have been Joey’s best friends and helped him throughout his career? Who would have Rachel and Monica stayed with? And how we would have missed those aura cleansing, mom stories, and more weird stuff. It is just impossible to imagine the show without these two for me.

Bruce Willis had to make a guest appearance on the show because he lost a bet to Matthew.

Bruce Willis and Matthew Perry starred together in The Whole Nine Yards and grew close. The two had a bet that the film would be number one at the box office on its opening weekend. Perry was sure this would happen and it did. As compensation for losing the bet, Bruce had to cameo on the TV show for free! A wicked bet I would say! Well played Matthew!

Monica was supposed to end up with Joey.

Another huge shock! In the first instance, Joey and Monica were supposed to be the ‘It Couple’ on the TV show. When the Creators were framing the show, they decided that Joey and Monica would end up together. However, after casting the actors, they realized that this wasn’t such a great idea. Even one of the flashback episodes gives us a hint about their chemistry. But Thank God! I mean, I love Joey and Monica but them ending up together would mean Mondler would have never existed and that I cannot accept.

On September 22, 1994, a television sitcom ‘FRIENDS’ aired for the first time, and since then it has changed the lives of many of us. It didn’t take much time for the show to reach its peak of success. Within a season or two, the show gained a massive fan base, and so did the six protagonists. Now let’s adjust our focus on David Schwimmer aka Ross Geller. It won’t be wrong to say that Ross was a nerd, but we all admired him for his sweet and sophisticated nature. Today if we take a look at David Schwimmer, then he is not the same person as his character, Ross Geller. Oh no! I didn’t mean that he is not sweet and kind in real life, he still is all those things but in a different way. Dig in to know how?

David Schwimmer knowingly or unknowingly has been the basis for a few changes in the storyline of Friends. Sometimes it was he who asked the directors to change certain things while sometimes he abruptly was the cause for those changes. Let’s see what were those changes.

The one where David changed the show’s course.

Remember when Ross said the wrong name on his wedding day? Well, it all seemed very smooth and perfect through television but it wasn’t that easy for the directors. It seems that the wedding was never supposed to happen in the first place. I mean of course how could it? Ross is supposed to end up with Rachel, right? Yes, that’s exactly what the directors thought but they just didn’t know how to make the changes. And there he is, David, whose one teeny-tiny mistake gave the directors the exact cue they were hunting for.

Yes, you read it right. While they were rehearsing their lines, David was supposed to say “Emily, the taxi is here” but apparently, he made a mistake and said, “Rachel, the taxi is here”. That’s it! That one mistake was all it took for the directors to decide the perfect ending. Can you believe it? If he hadn’t made this error, we might have never got to see Ross and Rachel together and of course, we would have also missed the hilarious wedding of Ross and Rachel, sorry I mean Ross and Emily!

One where David addressed the lack of diversity.

In 2015, the TV Show was introduced on Netflix, and believe me the response was immense! The Friends fanbase magnified. But the fans found many issues and one of them was the lack of diversity. Many of the cast members agreed on this as well. David in particular was one of the few people who pushed the directors to cast more diverse actors. Well, we did see him date Julie who was an Asian-American woman, and Charlie who was an African-American woman. According to him, this was a conscious push on his part. In an interview with THE GUARDIAN, he said: “Maybe there should be an all-black Friends or an all-Asian Friends.” Even Lisa Kudrow once divulged that casting six white leads would have never been the scenario had the show been created in 2020.

But you see, these are not the only things that make David different from his on-screen character (Ross). Before playing the role of Ross Geller on Friends, David used to play roles on stage. He even co-founded the Lookingglass Theatre Company in Chicago. He is into directing movies, tv-series and more lots. To state in numbers, David has directed more than 20 plays. Trust is a movie about a 14-year-old girl who is groomed online by a pedophile, a unique storyline, and of course, it’s directed by none other than David himself. He has also acted in the HBO war drama Band of Brothers, Neil LaBute’s Some Girls in London’s West End, and The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial on Broadway. And yes one of most memorable in the lot, his Emmy-nominated The People v OJ Simpson: American Crime Story.

According to him, the fame he got through this tv show was hard for him to adjust to. Despite all these feelings and situations, he never regretted those 10 years. In an interview, he said “That 10-year run with that particular cast, that group of writers, those directors. It was an amazing time professionally, but mostly creative.”

There is no second thought about the fact that we all love the on-screen pair, “Mondler.” Together they seem to be an exemplary couple that every husband and wife would wish to be. Their relationship flourished the right way; first, they got the chance to be together as friends and know each other thoroughly, then fall in love, and finally get hitched – Ahh! Something really electrifying!!

They both have been a wonderful on-screen couple all through. From being the couple that understands each other, respects each others’ beliefs, also accepts the fact that they are two separate beings, and all this has helped them in their marriage in the show. They were so close that they could easily and openly communicate their opinions to each other. While they shared such good chemistry on-screen, does that intimidated you to find out if they had such spark in real life as well?

In 2019, a source reported the Us Weekly about Matthew and Courteney and the statements are something we always wanted to hear!

According to the source, Matthew Perry never really gotten over Courteney Cox and had a thing for her always. If we quote the source who leaked the information to US Weekly, then he said, “Matthew’s always been in love with her, Any girl he’s tried to date looked similar to Courteney.”

The source also added that Matthew never really had a chance. First, Courteney got involved with David Arquette in 1995. Later in 1999 she got married but got divorced in 2013. And then there was her new boyfriend, Johnny McDaid. So Matthew never got a chance to try his luck.

The couple would have been great given their on-screen record. They had disagreements and disputes in the show but always they could solve it so easily! We all know, conflicts are definitely a part of a healthy marital relationship and this couple made the statement even rock proof.

And Yes! Some special words here for Monica would be worth it. She is the one who made Chandler get the better off his anxiety and led him towards commitment. And, guess what? Now, he is committed!

Chandler Bing and Monica Geller became a couple in the fourth season of the TV Show. By the end of the series, they got married and adopted twins. It has been wonderful watching them grow up into adults and having their own family. In real life, Matthew Perry and Courteney Cox are still close even if they do not meet every day and that amazes the fans a lot. Courteney and Matthew, both dated their co-stars in real life but we were always interested to see the two make a match and live together happily ever after.

Matthew Perry’s dating list is vast while Courteney Cox’s list is very small. She and David Arquette tied their knot in the year 1999. In 2004 they welcomed their daughter Coco into the world. But sadly, after 11 years of their marriage, the couple parted their ways in 2013. She then dated Johnny McDaid in 2013. The couple even got engaged in 2014. However, they couldn’t work things out between them and split up in 2015.

As for Matthew Perry, as said his dating list is vast but some of his well-known affairs were with Yasmine Bleeth, Lizzy Caplan, and Julia Roberts. He dated Yasmine and Julia in the 1990s. Lizzy Caplan was his most recent affair whom he dated from 2006 to 2012.

Leaving aside the source from US Weekly, rumour has it that Matthew Perry has always had a crush on Courteney Cox. Yes, that’s right!

But it seems like Matthew never really got an opportunity to confess the way he felt about her. But anyways, Matthew and Courteney have stayed friends for the time.

Recently, they caught up with each other for a lunch and Courteney posted a cute picture of them together on social media. Well, this is not the best part.

We all would have really loved to see the popular on-screen couple date each other off-screen as well. It just fits, you know what I mean. But hey! If they are happy we are happy for them. The six characters from Friends Sitcom are still so well connected that it calls for an on-screen reunion. But unfortunately, that’s delayed! However, Jennifer and Lisa who played Rachel Green and Phoebe Buffay respectively were spotted in an interview for Variety where they made it feel like it was a small reunion of Friends. They talked about some good old days from Friends, made fun of each other, and also talked about their recent TV shows like The Morning Show and Space Force. And of course, after playing a wholesome of ten seasons based on comedy, it is now in their nature to be comic and that’s exactly what they did. They slipped in a quote (Pivot, Pivot) from Friends and both of them laughed hard remembering the days from the shooting of Friends. In the complete video of the interview, they looked back on another memory of shooting ‘F.R.I.E.N.D.S’ and Aniston asked Kudrow whether she actually remembered the first time she met her. It didn’t even take Lisa a minute before she gave her answer saying ‘Yes I do – at the table read.’

I mean isn’t it amazing? After all these years they still remember the first time they met each other so keenly. “You were wearing an appropriate Phoebe Buffay – like white linen, hippie shirt and you had a bunch of seashells and a necklace on” commented Jennifer. And we can’t help thinking that it seems like Jennifer like her character Rachel Green had a lot of knowledge about fashion.

After all the talks about Friends, they went back to talking about their recent shows.
Lisa mentioned that The Morning Show is one of her favorites and that she and her husband would watch it anytime they are free together and said that Jennifer blew her away. Such a supportive friend you are Lisa! Jennifer was overwhelmed and thanked her. Lisa even said that Jennifer got quite into the character so much that Lisa couldn’t recognize that it was her friend who was hosting the show.

Then Aniston talked about how after 40 they need to find themselves someone new. Lisa was amazed by the portrayal of Alex’s breakdown and said that she hadn’t seen anything like that before and that it felt so real.

Then after some talks, they moved on to Lisa about her show ‘Space Force’. Jennifer said she was sorry that Lisa’s character was in jail but then claimed that even the situation going on right now is the same as what her character is going through.

Jennifer stated that Lisa was very excited to work with Steve Carell in return for which Lisa said that although it was only for five days it felt like heaven. I mean duh! Of course, working with Steve Carell is so exciting don’t you think?

Lisa also confessed that she likes being a guest family member as she has commitment issues after Friends. I wonder why that could be? Anyways, they could just go on talking about their current shows and went back to remembering the good old days.

Did you know that even celebrities like to check out their blooper videos?

Yes, that’s right! During this interview, Jennifer gave us another shocker. She said “I love stumbling on Friends episodes. Thus one time I was with Courteney and we were trying to find something to reference, an old Friends thing. Then we stumbled on – there are bloopers online – and we sat there at the computer like two nerds watching these bloopers laughing at ourselves.” I mean I cannot get over this incident at all! What a cool way to spend time with your friends. Note it down guys maybe you could do this sometimes with your friends too.

Lisa and Jennifer even discussed one blooper in particular in which Phoebe sings along with Ross playing a bagpipe. If you haven’t watched that blooper already we have it for you here. I bet you will find the blooper more hilarious than the original scene.

They even talked about the scene where Phoebe caught Chandler and Monica together through Ross’ new apartment. What was that line again? That’s right!

All in all, it was lovely seeing the BFFs get together through social media and have such heart-to-heart conversations.

It’s the 26th FRIENDS Anniversary and we still can’t get over the fact that 26 years have passed since Friends came on TV. To celebrate the day, Warner Bros has a gift for all the fans. They have finally made public the best recipes from Friends TV Series. While watching the sitcom we have always wondered what was all the fuss around Ross’ sandwich and why Joey loved his pizza so much, what special did he add to it? So finally we have our answers! Warner Bros has brought us some wonderful recipes that we can try on our own and have a wonderful dinner with our Friends. Btw, the cookbook is written by Amanda Yee and has the backing of Warner Bros thereby making it an official cookbook!

If you are planning to get a copy of the cookbook for yourself then you should acknowledge the fact that in the book you get 70 recipes to make your dinner party a hit. And the 70 dishes are based upon the food we have heard and seen in the TV Series or sometimes they are based upon the situations too. Take the example of “Rachel’s Lobster with a Side of Lobster Roll.” This recipe is based upon one of the most famous dialogues from Friends where Phoebe says Ross that Rachel is her Lobster! Phoebe also explains to us how the old lobsters hold claws while walking around their tank. So be prepared to be a Lobster to the dish once you try it, and yes we have a glimpse of the recipe from the cookbook for you here:

Moving ahead, do you remember the episode where Monica was so stressed out because she couldn’t copy the recipe of the chocolate cookies made by Phoebe’s grandmother? FRIENDS Fans were the most delighted on the occasion of The 72nd edition of the Emmy Awards. No one expected to see half the cast of Friends come together and play a small part as an extension of the series. Though just a role play but we loved to believe that all the three ladies from Friends(Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, and Lisa Kudrow) are staying together since 1994. Yes, they admitted it themselves that Courteney and Lisa are staying with Jennifer probably after the show ended in 1994. Even Jimmy Kimmel was surprised to know the same. While the three FRIENDS are off for dinner let’s discuss some more proceedings from the show. The Friends TV show is not just a show, but it has added joy to our life like a saviour. I don’t know about you guys, but I grew up binge-watching this show as a teenager. We can all agree that the show had a great cast. We love every character in their own unique way. I mean, didn’t we all try to replicate our favourite characters?

Joey Tribbiani is a character from Friends whom you can’t stop loving (especially girls). And that’s justified because even today, he looks the most charming among the three boys! Most fans love him, but there were times in the show where the character of Joey Tribbiani was spoiled. The creators of the show have tarnished the image of Joey so badly at instances that people often remember him for the negative examples rather than the good ones. He is fun, charming, and lovable. Also, there were times when we were head over heels for his jokes and undying charm. But like they say, every coin has two sides and so did Joey.

But not all fans enjoyed seeing both sides of Joey. Here we have listed a few things from the show which badly destroyed the character of Joey Tribbiani. We really think the creators could have made him a better person. He was no doubt the truest friend, genuine person, caring, sensitive, and more. But many negative habits in him could have been avoided.

So here’s the list of things that fans like me did not enjoy about Joey.

His dating manner.

Well, this is something that I and a lot of us dislike about Joey. The way he used to go on dates with women, have his cup of fun, and then never call them again was so infuriating. The fact that he never felt bad about this habit and boasted about it, was even more maddening. This was one of the worst things his character depicted. He never for once sat and thought about how devastated they would have been. Not every woman looks for a fling; some do wish to have a serious relationship that Joey never understood.

He didn’t learn his lesson when Kate left.

Remember Kate? The one we all thought was the soul-mate for Joey. I do feel bad for Joey because he is the only one who ended up being single. But isn’t it ironic? He treated women like objects and so ended up being alone. As you sow so shall you reap! I thought he would realize the pain he caused to every woman he dated but he was normal within a few days.

He did not love Kathy to punish Chandler in such a way.

I agree that anyone would be mad after hearing that their best friend kissed their girlfriend. But it wasn’t like Joey was in love with Kathy. He was even double dating at that time which again is beyond the pale. When he didn’t even love her so there wasn’t any need to be so harsh with Chandler because Chandler did love her and tried his best to suppress his feelings just because Joey (his best friend) was dating her.

The time when he tried to break a couple.

In one of the episode, he meets a woman with whom he formally went on a date. He then flirts with her but she tells him she is dating someone. What he did after that was unacceptable. He used Monica to break the couple and it’s not like he fell in love with the woman. He just wanted to be physically involved with her again. Such things are the reason he got tagged with the title of a ‘womanizer’.

When he chose to save a sandwich over his friend.

As uproarious as I found the episode where he dove to save his sandwich and not Ross, I found the concept kind of stupid. How can someone choose a small piece of food over their best friend? Doesn’t this make him self-obsessed? It sure does. Not just this but it also makes him a bad friend.

When he and Chandler tried to get Ross to move out.

I get it that Ross is a geek and is not that funny but that does not make it right to disrespect him and force him to move out when he requires his friends. They found him annoying and why was that? Because he had a job and was working hard for that or the fact that he was trying to get them to be a little hygienic. This only shows how everything for Joey was just for fun. Chandler realized and felt that they were doing something wrong but not Joey.

When he asked his roommate (Rachel) to tell the girl that he is not interested in her.

Who on earth asks their friend to tell someone that it’s not working out and that they should move on. I mean flirting with Women and just having a fling is itself inappropriate and then not even having the courage to tell a woman that you are not interested in her is ungentlemanly. I mean man up!

He left Ben on the bus.

In an episode, he agrees to babysit Ben (Ross’ son). Do you remember why? That’s right! He agreed because he wanted to take Ben out just so he could get women to talk to him seeing a cute baby. How vile was that? Using a kid to flirt with women! This shows how hitting on women was his major priority.

When he threw a woman’s leg into the fire.

In another episode, he sees that Chandler has met a woman whom again he had already dated in the past and then hides. He explains to Monica and Phoebe about how he dated her and while they were on a vacation he threw her artificial leg into the fire thinking it was a log. Now, I agree that mistakes are a part of life. But he didn’t even have the courtesy to apologize for his behavior, instead, he left her alone and ran away. Can anyone be more of a coward?

His criteria for being his roommate.

His ad in the newspaper while he was looking for a new roommate was legit improper. There are people out there who are really in need of a place to stay but all he cared about was that his roommate should be a good looking girl and she should be okay with him hitting on her all the time. Why would any girl who is conscious and knows what she is doing would ever be okay with such things? Then after Janine clearly stated that she is not attracted to him, he didn’t stop there and kept hitting on her.

So these are some things that have tarnished the character of Joey. I understand the show was intended this way and maybe the creators wanted to put forward many other points by writing the story this way. But, hey! I love Joey so you can’t complain if I want to see him as a better person. The whole purpose of the show was to make us laugh and you cannot deny that the show did fulfil its purpose. So let’s make peace with the fact that we can’t change things now. And yes the most important thing, despite all the points described above, my love for Joey never died because he is the best!

In Friends, You might love some characters and hate some too. But, the one thing which everyone is ought to love and like, is the friendship of Chandler and Joey. The Friends TV show wouldn’t have been the same without this iconic bromance. Somewhere deep inside we too want to have a friendship like them but not everyone is lucky enough.

Through their brotherhood, they have always portrayed that it is not necessary to be roommates forever, to do everything together. What really matters is how much you know each other and the rapport you share. One of my favorite Chan and Joe moments is when they had their own little family with the chick and the duck. Do you guys admire the fact that Chandler took care of Joey like his own kid? Well, I sure do!

The one with the bracelet.

“Is this friendship?
I think so.”

In the 14th episode of the second season, Joey bought a bracelet that had “best buds” embellished on it for Chandler. He wanted Chandler to know how much he meant to him. But Chandler found the bracelet quite embarrassing and was grumbling to Phoebe about how the bracelet was a “women repellent”. Joey who walked into the coffee house happened to encounter this and was heartbroken after hearing how Chandler really felt about the gift. Then while apologizing to Joey for demeaning his gift he lost it. He felt terrible and went and bought a new pair but to his shock, he finds the old one back and then gifts the new one to Joey and that is how they became “bracelet buddies”.

The one where Joey moves out.

Did you too think that the bond that Chandler and Joey shared was merely because they were roommates? Well, some of my friends did. So there was an episode where Joey explains to Chandler how he is old enough to start living alone and should consider buying the apartment they visited previously. This makes Chandler uncomfortable as he was never prepared for something like this. I mean Joey talking like a grown-up, who is ever prepared for that? Eventually, they get into a fight and Joey does move out but they both don’t feel content with this. It is after Joey meets Chandler’s new roommate that he realizes he wasn’t ready for this and that he does miss his “best roommate ever”.

The one where the weirdo won’t leave.

Remember Eddie? The weird roommate who won’t move out? Well, who better to have your back than your best friend! That’s exactly what happened with Chan and Joe. When nothing worked, Chandler turned to Joey and asked him to move back and that’s how they were back to being roommates! Can we all agree how cute that moment was when Joey got jealous of Chandler getting so close with Eddie! Absolute friendship goals!!

The one where they prove they share brain cells.

I am trapped in an ATM vestibule with Jill Goodacre! Does it ring any bells? This is a scene from the blackout episode. Initially, Monica attends the call from Chandler but doesn’t understand a word that he said in his own queer way. Then he asks her to put Joey on the phone and without wasting time he understands every word Chandler said. Now that my friend is called sharing brain cells which I believe we all do with our #BFFS.

The one where they babysit Ben.

“What kind of scary clowns came to your birthday?”

Be honest. The way Chandler and Joey understood each other and knew how the other one is going to react was just mind-blowing. I, for once think that the episode where they forget about Ben and left him on the bus was chuckle-some. None of this duo’s episodes is left as not being funny.

The one where Joey dove in front of Ross.

Earlier I mentioned how cute Joey was when he got jealous, now it’s Chandler’s we are gonna talk about. Let’s go back to the episode where Phoebe’s boyfriend, Gary took Ross, Joey, and Chandler on a night ride. An iconic scene happened that night which tells us how Joey could even die for his sandwiches. Yes, that’s right! He didn’t make that dive to save Ross; he did that to save his sandwich. The friendship was so thick that Chandler could not resist feeling jealous of the fact that Joey chose Ross over him. But later he realized the fact that Joey’s loyalty lied with the sandwich and not with Ross. Anyways, it shows how badly Chandler needed Joey in his life.

The one where Joey was so generous.

It is impressive how Joey acted maturely when he didn’t let Kathy destroy the bond he had with Chandler and also let him have Kathy. Can a friendship be so strong that you are willing to let go of your love? It sure was in their case! This isn’t the first time where Joey was the one who gave up. Actually, in this scene, I love how they both equally sacrificed for each other so that they don’t lose their best friend.

The one where Chandler moved to Tulsa.

This episode is one of the best examples of how Chandler and Joey share a relationship of more than just friends. Their phone conversation when Chandler reaches the airport is the sweetest moment of their bromance. I could not get over how adorable Joey was on that call with Chandler. This was one of the moments where I shipped Chandler and Joey over Chandler and Monica. I bet you all secretly did that too. It’s a perfect example of how their Bromance was above Romance.

The one where Chandler and Monica buy a new house.

Did you or did you not cry after watching the scene where you got to know Chandler and Monica were secretly planning to keep Joey with them forever. Hell yaa!! I did. This does not just show how close Chandler and Joey are but also shows how close their trio was (Chandler, Monica, and Joey). I mean, wasn’t Monica a wonderful wife? Not only did she not try to break their bond but also took their bond to a new level.
After this, they weren’t just friends but became a family.

The one with the wishbone.

Do you guys believe in the lottery? I don’t. But, the six of them sure did. Yes, I am talking about the scene where they all bought lottery tickets, and am I missing out on something? Yes, of course. The wish-bone. Recollect the time when Joey didn’t wish for them to win the lottery but wished for Chandler to get the advertisement job. That was a sentimental scene.
I am afraid, Monica is not reading this or she will rip Joey’s heart out!

If you are a fan of the Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston duo then you can’t miss watching this video! On 17th September 2020, the couple came together and participated in Dane Cook’s Feelin’ A-Live, a virtual live table read of Fast Times at Ridgemont High.

You can’t miss notice how their eyes meet and how they notice each other while on the zoom call. Fans always go crazy for moments as such. We can see those sparks in the eyes and it’s for sure, more than Jennifer and Brad, we the fans went crazy to experience something like that.

Jennifer even said something romantic and sensual to Brad that we can’t stop ourselves from listening. Though in character, the lines came out perfect and matched the intensity of the romance between them. And if you are interested to know the exact lines Jennifer said to Brad then here they go:

“Hi, Brad. You know how cute I always thought you were. I think you’re so sexy. Would you come to me?”

Can you believe it? These were the lines from Jennifer to Brad Pitt! Too flirty!

Doesn’t that sound like someone just got together and might have a naughty night tonight? Well, don’t get too excited as these were the lines from the X-rated scene of the movie they were table reading for, but the lines really knocked off the audience.

In case, if you have started wondering if or not the duo was alone. Then let’s clarify that they were not. Rather they were accompanied by Morgan Freeman, Henry Golding, Julia Roberts, Jimmy Kimmel, Shia LaBeouf, Matthew McConaughey, and Sean Penn. And all these stars came together for an unrehearsed table read of the 1982 coming-of-age film.

Well, for those who don’t know, in these events a character from the film is assigned to every person taking part and they ought to read the lines of the character while maintaining the flow. Interestingly in this particular table read we are concerned about, there were a few original characters from the movie but they too didn’t know which character they might have to play in the event.

Luckily, Jennifer got the part of Linda Barrett whereas Brad Pitt got to read the lines of Brad Hamilton, a character from the movie. Maybe even fate wants them to go romantic as the characters they got are amorous high school students and had some spicy scenes together as evident from Jennifer’s lines above.

The lines by Jennifer were still fine until Morgan Freeman narrated a hot and steamy scene between Jennifer and Brad! The narration goes as follows:

“He(Brad Pitt’s character) walks to Linda(Jennifer’s character). She reaches out and grabs him for a kiss, pulling him close. Then she pushes him away so he can watch as she carefully unstraps the top of bathing suit.”

“The incredible Linda Barrett’s bre*-sts fall loose, Lord have mercy. She takes Brad’s hands and places them on her as she begins unbuttoning his shirt. They’re just about to fall into passionate lovemaking when…”

As the movie goes, it’s a day-dream scenario, where Brad is imagining Linda making a move on him.

So as a fan of the Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston are you not happy yet? You just got a steamy scene described between the couple and they were listening to it together! Oh boy! The call couldn’t be anymore steamy than that. And we never expected to witness scenes like these between the two. Well, fate can bring you to places you never expected to be!

We don’t know yet if things between the two are as steamy as the scene they did. But there’s a sect of the society who want to see them together as they looked cute that way. But again the decision lies with the two and we would gratefully accept any advances they make.
