What Ashwin Wife Did To Ritika Sajdeh After Rohit Sharma’s Dismissal Is A Pure Class

0

The Mumbai Indians’ skipper Rohit Sharma recently celebrated his 35th birthday on Saturday. In the ongoing 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League Rohit has not been in his best form and is going through a lean patch in his career. The fans were expecting him to earn some big innings for his team, but unfortunately, the cricketer failed to make it big with the bat yet again.

However, Rohit Sharma and his team were relieved finally when the five-time champions Mumbai Indians (MI) defeated Rajasthan Royals (RR) by five wickets in the 44th match of the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) after losing the first eight consecutive games.

Rajasthan Royals set the target of 159 runs, Mumbai got off to a poor start as in the third over they lost the wicket of Rohit Sharma. The ‘Hitman’ could manage to score only two runs in five balls and was dismissed by Ravichandran Ashwin.

After Rohit’s dismissal, his wife Ritika Sajdeh looked devastated when she was captured on camera. Even Rohit looked heartbroken when he made his way to the dugout.

However, a heartwarming moment was also caught on camera, the event occurred just after Rohit’s dismissal. Ravichandran Ashwin’s wife Prithi Narayanan was captured consoling Ritika Sajdeh by giving her a warm hug.

The heartwarming gesture from Prithi was indeed admirable and the video of the same went viral and has been doing the rounds on the internet leaving everyone in awe with the sweet gesture.

On the other hand, talking about the match, Ashwin celebrated the dismissal with ecstasy as it was a big wicket for Rajasthan Royals.

After losing Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan, the responsibility was once again on the shoulders of Suryakumar Yadav to turn things in favor of his team. The Mumbai batter steered the run chase by playing an amazing knock of 51 runs on a dual-paced pitch. With a partnership with Tilak Verma, he managed to take Mumbai Indians closer to victory. Tim David hit a few long ones to help Mumbai finish off with grace. After the first win, this season everyone on the MI team cheered with joy.

On account of his poor form in IPL 2022 Rohit Sharma managed to score just 155 runs in 9 matches at a strike rate of 125. These numbers were not even close to the expectations of the fans of the Mumbai Indian skipper Rohit Sharma. He has also struggled to score a single fifty-plus in the first 9 matches of IPL 2022.

Padma Lakshmi is a well-known Indian-American author who has been raised in the USA. Padma Lakshmi is not only known for her writing but she is also a model and a TV host who received a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Reality Host in the years 2009 and 2020. She worked as a host in the cooking competition program Top Chef on Bravo since season 2. She was once married to novelist Salman Rushdie.

The lady also likes to keep herself updated about what is happening in her home country, India. She also makes a point to share her views and opinions and often makes statements on such issues.

She recently took to Twitter and stated,

“Sickening to see the violence against Muslims celebrated in India. The widespread anti-Muslim rhetoric preys on fear and poisons people. This propaganda is dangerous and nefarious because when you consider someone less than it’s much easier to participate in their oppression.”

While addressing the Hindus in India, she went on,

“Fellow Hindus, don’t succumb to this fear-mongering. There is no threat to Hinduism in India or anywhere else. True spirituality doesn’t include any room for sowing hatred of any kind. People of all faiths should be able to live peacefully together in this ancient, vast land.”

She shared her opinion about how hate-filled songs are used to attack a section of people of different faith and one of communal violence in a subsequent series of tweets, and also shared a couple of links to articles about Jahangirpuri violence and the role of social media in it.

She further added, “Read more on the situation in India.”

While some appreciated her effort to preach harmony by standing for Indian Muslims, some didn’t like her interference in the matter.

Take a look at their mixed reactions:

Some people even dragged her former husband Salman Rushdie in the tweets.

Dale Steyn Gives The Best Reply To A Fan’s Tweet Who Said ‘Bumrah Better Than You’

0

Dale Steyn, the former cricketer of the South African team won hearts and praises from all over the world including India for his witty and fitting reply to a fan’s tweet implying that Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah is a better fast bowler than Steyn.

Dale Steyn

Dale Steyn played in a time when cricket was ruled by fast bowlers. In the last decade and a half, the norm has been below 40 average for batters, Sub-400 totals in Test matches, and matches finishing within four days. The growing popularity of T20 cricket and a number of factors have contributed to this, though it has given rise to errors in batters’ technique, the quality of fast bowling remains the most important.

One of the finest fast bowlers to ever play the game, with a clean approach to the bowling crease, an athlete-like run-up, and a motion that provided natural out-swing. The fact that he mastered the old ball, and frequently reversed it, made things much more challenging for the hitters.

At the end of his career, injuries hampered Steyn although he could have joined the 500-club like Glenn McGrath, James Anderson, Courtney Walsh, and Stuart Broad. He is one of the most productive match-winners with a 22.95 average in 93 Tests.

Recently, a fan reacted to Steyn’s tweet, who suggested that India’s Jasprit Bumrah is a better fast bowler than him, to which Steyn responded with an out-of-this-world response. Steyn proved that he is not only a brilliant fast bowler but he is also good at social media.

Steyn said, “I’m sure he is, I’m retired.” His witty response suggests that the only reason why Bumrah might be better than him at the moment is that he himself has retired. The former South African professional cricketer is 38-years old and he no longer plays international cricket.

Check out his witty response:

His hilarious response grabbed the attention of fans who appreciated him for taking the random criticism in good spirit and giving a fitting reply:

Since making his debut in Australia in 2015, Bumrah has established himself as India’s go-to pacer in all three forms of the game in no time. In the IPL 2022, the right-arm pacer is playing for the Mumbai Indians. Though he has proved his abilities as a fast bowler, comparisons to Steyn might be immature.

Steyn announced his retirement in August last year. He played 125 One-Day Internationals, 93 Tests, and 47 Twenty-20 Internationals for South Africa and had a spectacular career by capturing close to 700 international wickets as a bowler.

The ‘Leaked Text’ Between Elon Musk & Bill Gates Reveals That Money Is All That Matters

Elon Musk is the world’s richest man, and Bill Gates is the world’s, fourth-richest man. A text exchange between Musk and Gates surfaced online on Saturday. The texts reveal Musk (the Tesla boss) turning down a philanthropic opportunity from Gates (the Microsoft co-founder) over the latter shorting Tesla.

On Twitter, an account named Whole Mars Catalog shared the screenshots of the texts and tagged Musk asking if the texts were real. The color of the text message boxes indicates that they were taken on Musk’s phone, though the origin of the screenshots was not immediately clear. According to Musk, the leaked screenshots of texts between Elon Musk and Bill Gates are real.

A text from Gates confirming a day and time to meet appears in the first screenshot, to which Musk responds “Great.” Another screenshot displays a text, supposedly from Gates, saying “just landed” to which Musk responded “cool.”

Musk also asked the Microsoft co-founder: “Do you still have a half billion dollar short position against Tesla?”

According to the screenshots, Gates responded by saying, “Sorry to say I haven’t closed it out,” also adding: “I would like to discuss philanthropy possibilities.”

Musk responded: “Sorry, but I cannot take your philanthropy on climate change seriously when you have a massive short position against Tesla, the company doing the most to solve climate change.”

When an investor sells a stock they’ve borrowed with the intention of buying it back later at a lower price, essentially betting that the stock’s value will fall, it is known as a short position.

Musk responded to the screenshots by tweeting that they were real but that he did not leak them, he added that they must have gotten out “through friends of friends.”

Musk also revealed: “I heard from multiple people at TED that Gates still had half billion short against Tesla, which is why I asked him, so it’s not exactly top secret.”

Though it was unclear when the text exchange took place, but Musk said that in February 2021 on Joe Rogan’s podcast he heard Gates was betting against Tesla in the stock market.

Shortly after responding to the tweets Musk also tweeted a meme of Gates comparing the Microsoft founder to the pregnant man emoji and wrote: “in case u need to lose a boner fast.”

Check out some of the tweets cussing the billionaires:

Two of the world’s richest people, Musk and Gates, have also openly feuded in the past, on their disagreement over topics like COVID-19, electric vehicles, and colonizing Mars.
